The legend behind the birth of the goddess Saraswati
Once Lord Brahma was very blissful with the creation of a beautiful world. Thus, he had a go-round of his creation. He was dissatisfied and saddened by the complete silence on Earth because of the appearance of loneliness in the living beings.
After reanalyzing Lord Brahma came up with a wonderful idea. Instantly he splashed some water from his Kamandala (sacred jug), and a divine being appeared in front of him.
The divine being was a woman, holding a Veena (string musical instrument) in her hand. Lord Brahma appealed to her to play music and sing hymns for all his creations on his earth. As a result, the earth and enthusiasm.
Later, the divine being was popularly known as Maa Saraswati as well as Veena Vadini( harp player). After this, the day of Vasant Panchami is celebrated as the birthday of Goddess Saraswati by the devotees.
